So the other day I shared this little teaser. I've put my Orks on a little hold for now as I want to test out my new toy and also get a solid recipe for rust that I can apply to all the boyz bases and my new game boards.
Annoyingly I painted up a batch of bases and have forgotten how I did it....
Not an uncommon problem for my painting and one I like using the blog as a record to help avoid.
Over the last couple of nights I managed get some more done on the terrain piece I'm using to test out the Die cutter read on after the break to see how it's coming along.

Recently I've been looking at options to build up my experience with CAM equipment, the fact it will also help make better terrain and models is of cause a big Brucey bonus. After some searching online and reading of reviews I managed to pick up the Craftwell eCraft electronic Die Cutter. See how my test cuts turned out after the break.

The beginning of last year saw me launch Forged at a painting desk with 4 goals in mind:
- 1000 points painted and table top ready Ork army using only models I own.
- Make a dent in the piles of half built terrain stored in the loft.
- Run along with Lester the Frozen Vengeance campaign for 40k based on the crusade of fire book.
- Resist buying stuff till I've made some progress towards my current armies and painting goals
