Whaaaaa aaaawww bugger it

Well I been distracted again. Over the last week or so I've been pondering my colour scheme for black legion, some reason it's been bugging me (Tale of painters' black legion updates and tutorials likely triggered it). So I've got a quick roundup of what I've been up to after the break.

I aten't dead

So, things have been realy busy at work again and I've not managed any posts. Rest assured I have still managed some hobby time and will have updates shortly. For now though these arrived on my doorstep last night so I'll hopefully manage a brief unboxing of the Dok model and first impression of the codex in the near future.
Work will be hectic though over the coming months so may be lucky to manage many posts but I'll try to keep updates as I make milestones in my projects.

Gorkanaut/Morkanaut Review and Progress

The last couple of nights I've been a little busy with domestic chores and catching up on 'Game of Thrones'. However over the weekend I did managed some progress as you can see above. I also took a number of pictures of the kit part assembled which means after the break is the review of the Kit I promised on friday.

Big an Zappy

Having begun to build a whole new body for the Morkanaught's Kustom Mega Kannon earlier in the week I managed a little more last night, as my photos to review the kit didn't come out that well (blurry and poorly lit) I can share the mounting bracket after the break.

Crashed and Burned.

I Spent some time last night working on the Gorka(Morka)Naught and assembling the main body to help give me a sense of scale and positioning for the new arm. Once I had chance to compare my Kustom Mega-Kannon with the assembled Deffstorm mega-shoota I managed to finish up the arm using some greystuff which I left to set.
I should get some more pictures tonight and get a bit of a review of the kit for tomorrow, in the meantime today I've got another quick picture of an old terrain piece after the break.

Gorka(or possibly Morka)naught

Sunday was my birthday and while I only got about 3 hours sleep and spent the day with a killer hangover it was a good day (Epic night out well worth the hangover). Gav dropped over in the afternoon after I'd got home and made the day even better with the new Ork walker as a present. Thank you man it's such a cool kit.
So with painting in the evening made difficult by lighting options last night I decided to try and tackle the options for magnetising the kit, read on to see how I got on.

What lurks within?

Having shared the first terrain piece I intend to update on friday, today I have another old terrain pieces and this one will likely require the least work to bring up to date.
