So things have been a little busy and I've not been able to schedule anything up this week.
So today I've got a quick update on the Hellbrute.
at this point I have the first gold highlights and most of the base colours done, I need to go round and paint all the red and copper/brass bits so that's the next step. still now I've blocked out the larger areas I'm confident in finishing this month with a couple of evenings.
I may have time tomorrow to write up a post for Tuesday so hopefuly next weekI can share some more of the knight and something else. Until then TTFN

Looking good, man! I like that flesh color with the black and gold.
ReplyDeleteI spent ages looking for the right colours for the flesh when I first started painting him, then it turned out I had just the right thing for the base coat all along.
DeleteI'm hoping now I'm onto highlights and then washes it'll go fairly quickly,
The flesh looks great Dan! Man the helbrute model really grows on you!
ReplyDeleteThanks Greg. It's such a great model and when you get down to it it's not as complex to paint as I expected. The push fit though means I can't use sub assemblies which makes it much more daunting.
DeleteI agree with the rest, the flesh colour is perfect to the dark armour. I can't wait to see this Helbrute finished.
