Managed to do a little painting over the last few nights, I'm not getting staged completed as quickly as previous batches though I would probably work quicker if I wasn't watching telly.
Still one of the boyz is done, another is very close (just his gun to go) and the others just need a few highlight coats. At least the bodies are on the bases which helps me see how the technical paints have worked out, I hope to have them finished over the weekend so keep an eye out monday to see if I did.
Nice work, I like the bright tones. Now make for 25 more for a proper horde ;)
ReplyDeleteCurrent 1k uses 2 units of 10 Shootas (this is the second half of the first unit) a mob of 20 Slugga and 10 storm boyz. So not a to bad Ork figure count and I back them up with some heavier stuff. Soon as I get a chance I'll do a list post but wanted to get the battel report that inspired my current list written first.
DeleteVery nice vibrancy of the skin. Really pops them out. Will look great as a sea of green on the tabletop!
ReplyDeleteIt's just GW's 3 ork colours, they work well though. Always nice to be able to just grab 3 colours and know you can get consistent results any day.
